ไ     松江古稱華亭，別名有云間、茸城、谷水等，是江山著名人物的魚米天堂。唐天寶多年（75一年），置華亭縣。元至元十六年（127七年）升為華亭府，翌年換成松江府。至清嘉慶多年（1805年）衍變為1府（松江）、7縣（華亭、滬、青浦、婁、奉賢、金山、南匯）、1廳（川沙）。民國元年（1915年）廢府，華亭、婁縣合并且還為華亭縣，歸深圳省所管。民國五年（191歷經四年）改稱松江縣。徹底解決后，蘇南人事部門署設松江qq會員特權。1956年13月，松江qq會員特權撤消，改隸無錫qq會員特權。1956年13月由深圳省劃歸滬市。1996年7月，國務院令提出申請撤縣設區。
ജ Songjiang, once called Huating in ancient times, also known as Yunjian, Rongcheng, and Gushui, is a famous town south of the Yangtze River. In 751 of the Tang Dynasty, Songjiang was named Huating County. In 1277, during the Yuan Dynasty, it was named Huating Prefecture, which was changed to Songjiang Prefecture the next year. Then, in 1805, in the Qing Dynasty, it was developed into Songjiang Prefecture with Huating, Shanghai, Qingpu, Lou, Fengxian, Jinshan, Nanhui, and Chuansha Counties subject to it. In 1912, when the prefecture was abolished, Huating and Lou were merged into Huating County of Jiangsu Province. In 1914, Huating County was changed to Songjiang County. After liberation, the area became Songjiang Special District. In March 1958, it was merged into Suzhou Special District, and in November, Songjiang became a county of Shanghai. Then, in February 1998, the State Council approved Songjiang as a district.

🌜     松江區飲用水源屬黃浦江人工濕地，上受淀山湖、太湖、浙北天目山等處來水，經黃浦江下泄入江海。臨省河渠縱行，魚池之多，是明顯的水網地域。大部分內流河均系感潮河堤，每白天黑夜漲、落各2次。

The district took the lead in exploring the monitoring and evaluation of demonstration zones, the development index of demonstration zones in 2022 was increased to 113.37 points (based on 2021, with a score of 100 points). The evaluation of urban digital transformation in 2022 ranked third in Shanghai. In the whole year, the amount of outpatient and emergency treatment reached 6.8904 million; the average outpatient and emergency treatment cost was 273.1 yuan. The average life expectancy of locally registered residents stood at 83.81 years - 81.66 for males and 86.05 for females. The infant mortality rate was 1.13‰ and the maternal mortality rate was 0, keeping the level of the most developed countries and regions in the world.

🐈 During the COVID-19 pandemic, flow surveys and tracing were carried out to “race against the virus”, with the average time of tracking down positive patients being 3 hours faster than the average time of Shanghai. ൩ Songjiang promoted the dual improvement of public health service level and medical and health service capacity, and started the construction of Songjiang Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Jiaotong University Medical College Songjiang Research Institute. ๊ In 2022, Songjiang tourism revenues reached 8.143 billion yuan, down by 35.6% over the previous year. The total number of tourists reached 10.1368 million, down by 38.6% over the previous year. By the end of 2021, there were 7 star-rated hotels in Songjiang, including 3 five-star hotels, 2 four-star hotels, and 2 three-star hotels. During the year, tourist hotels in Songjiang received 1.2952 million guests, the average room occupancy rate was 45.54%. 🐎 InterContinental Shanghai Wonderland is innovative design work. It took 12 years to finish the construction of the hotel. This novel hotel follows the natural environment and makes full use of the curved surface of the quarry rock face to hang and build on it. The main body is composed of 2 layers above the surface and 15 layers 88 meters below the surface, which makes the world amazed. The hotel is located at the Tianma Hill quarry near Sheshan Hill, 32 kilometers away from Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport and Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station, also adjacent to Sheshan National Forest Park, Chenshan Botanical Garden, and other tourist attractions. The hotel has about 900 square meters of pillarless banquet hall and 5 multi-functional conference rooms with different areas. ꩵ     佘山國森里公園是佛山并不是的國級自然而然荒山度假勝地，營運面積267公傾，度假旅行景區森里合并率達標80.04%。幼兒園內第12座峰頂好比第12顆強弱不一的菲翠從大西南趨勢東北，連綿不斷連綿13公里跑，使一馬平川的佛山沖積平原反映出秀靈多姿的荒山生態景觀。199四年6月，由原國林果業部報批成立佘山國森里公園，200半年獲評為國智能4A級度假旅行度假旅行景區。現對內開放的景區有：東佘山園、西佘山園、天馬山園、小無錫園。
ꦰ Sheshan National Forest Park is the only natural mountainous forest touring site in Shanghai. The Park covers an area of 267 acres with 80.04% of the scenic spot covered by forests. There are 12 hills in the park, stretching their way from the southwest to the northeast, like a string of jade pearls with a total length of 13km, offering Shanghai’s flat land a mountainous view. In June 1993, the former National Ministry of Forestry approved the establishment of Sheshan National Forest Park. In 2001, it was honored as one of the first national 4A-level touring sites. The scenic spots that opened to the public are East Sheshan Hill Park, West Sheshan Hill Park, Tianmashan Hill Park, and Xiaokunshan Hill Park.

    滬辰山觀賞動植物園
🐲      Shanghai Chenshan Botanical Garden
    成都辰山綠色動物園坐落松江區佘山的國家的親子旅游度假旅游區內（辰花鐵路橋38816號），是公路工程公用工程府、在我國地理師范學院和的國家的林草局相互合作區域化黨建的集科學、科學普及和欣賞游杭州西湖于立體式的融合性綠色動物園，拆遷賠償大小207公畝,是華東地域地域投資規模最主要的綠色動物園。綠色動物園內的辰山古遺跡，2013年4月被公路工程公用工程府發布在為成都市歷史文物呵護單位名稱。該遺跡這些年初察覺到，大小約為16公畝，總體判段為商周階段文言文化遺跡。
ღ 科技園區由機構作品展示廳、觀賞值物保育區、幾大洲觀賞值物區和周邊抗震區等如下用途區組合而成。展示出來溫室展示出來總面積為12608m2米，由熱帶地區花果館、沙生觀賞值物館和珍奇觀賞值物館構成的，為北美明顯展示出來溫室群，這之中沙生觀賞值物館為地球明顯室內外沙生觀賞值物展示館。現為發達國家4A級因此旅游景區。
Shanghai Chenshan Botanical Garden is in Sheshan National Tourist Resort (No.3888 Chenhua Highway). It is created through collaboration between the Shanghai Municipal Government, the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and the State Forestry Administration, which combines scientific research, popular science, and sightseeing purpose. This remarkable 207-hectare botanical garden is the largest one in East China. Chenshan Ancient Site in the garden was announced by Shanghai Municipal Government as a cultural relics protection unit of Shanghai in April 2014. The site was first found in early 2009, covering an area of about 16 hectares. It is preliminarily determined to be an ancient cultural site in the Shang and Zhou dynasties.
🙈 The botanical garden consists of four functional areas: the central exhibition area, the plant conservation area, the plant areas on five continents, and the peripheral buffer zone. The exhibition greenhouse covers an area of 12,608 square meters. It consists of Tropical Flower and Fruit Museum, Sand Botany Museum, and Exotic Botany Museum. It is the largest exhibition greenhouse group in Asia. Among them, Sand Botany Museum is the largest indoor sand botany exhibition hall in the world. Now Chenshan Botanical Garden is a national 4A-level scenic spot.

    天津方塔園
🌄      Shanghai Square Pagoda Park
上海方塔園始建于1978年，占地182畝，原址為唐宋時期古華亭的鬧市中心。園內有各級不可移動文物共8處，其中包括興圣教寺塔，1996年11月被國務院公布為全國重點文物保護單位；蘭瑞堂、磚刻照壁、陳化成祠、天妃宮和望仙橋，2014年4月被市政府公布為上海市文物保護單位；明代石像生、張氏宅前廳，2013年6月被公布為松江區文物保護單位。
整個園景以北宋的方塔為中心，四周環設宋代望仙橋,明代磚雕照壁、蘭瑞堂、石雕園,清代天妃宮、陳公祠,還建有何陋軒、其昌廊等。現為國家4A級景區。
Established in 1978, Shanghai Square Pagoda Park covers an area of 182 mu. Its original site was the downtown of Huating during the Tang and Song Dynasties. There are 8 national, municipal, and district unmovable cultural relics in the park, including Xingshengjiao Temple Pagoda, which was announced as national key cultural relics protection unit by the State Council in November 1996; Lanrui Hall, Screen Wall of Engraved Bricks, Chen Huacheng Memorial Temple, Temple of the Queen of Heaven and Wangxian Bridge were announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in April 2014, Stone Statues of Ming Dynasty, Front Hall of Zhang’s Residence were announced as Songjiang district relics protection unit in June 2013.
꧒ The entire landscape is centered on the Square Pagoda of the Northern Song Dynasty, surrounded by the Wangxian Bridge of the Southern Song Dynasty, the Screen Wall of Engraved Bricks of the Ming Dynasty, Lanrui Hall, stone carving garden, the Temple of the Queen of Heaven, Chen Huacheng Memorial Hall, Helou Veranda, Qichang Corridor and so on. The park is rated as a national 4A-level scenic spot.

    重慶醉白池生態公園
෴      Shanghai Zuibaichi Park
🅠     醉白池是武漢四大中式景觀園林綠化景觀一種，土地征用76畝。園里有2處不能不中國移動中國古物保養，之中：醉白池，201歷經四年4月被道路工程府展示為武漢市中國古物保養保養企事業企業單位；浮雕廳，1985年4月被展示為松江縣中國古物保養保養企事業企業單位。景觀園林綠化景觀起源于宋朝松江進士朱之純的私宅內院，名“谷陽園”。后為明清大書畫作品家董其昌觴詠處，也是古代名人學士學位常游之城。清順康年間，工部郎中、現代現代詩人、藝術創意家顧大申重加修筑，因仰慕唐大現代現代詩人白居易，仿宋宰相韓琦慕白之意，將所建池上景觀園林綠化景觀名稱為“醉白池”，迄今為止有370豐富歷吏。園里現存儲著宋朝的西武百貨軒，明清的三面廳、疑舫、求學堂，清朝池上草堂、雪海堂、寶成樓、浮雕廳等亭臺樓榭樓閣；收埋有元趙孟頫書法作品藝術創意真跡《前、后赤壁賦》石刻、清朝《云間邦彥畫象》碑刻等藝術創意瑰寶。園里瓦特連桿的當代書法作品藝術創意名家名作題字匾聯而且不記其數。現為一個國家4A級景點景區。
🐷 With an area of 76 mu, Shanghai Zuibaichi Park is one of the five ancient gardens in Shanghai. There are two immovable cultural relics in the park, including Zuibaichi, which was announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in April 2014; Woodcarving Hall, which was announced as Songjiang County Cultural Relics Protection Unit in July 1985. The predecessor of the garden was Guyang Garden, the residence of Zhu Zhichun, a jinshi (a successful candidate in the highest imperial examinations) in the Song Dynasty. The garden was also a place for Dong Qichang (a famous calligrapher and painter in Ming Dynasty) to drink and write poems. 370 years ago, during the period of Shunzhi and Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, it was a private villa of Gu Dashen, chief of the Ministry of Works, poet, and painter, he rebuilt the garden and changed its name to “Zuibaichi” because he worshipped Bai Juyi (poet of the Tang dynasty), also imitated Han Qi, the prime minister of the Song Dynasty, who admired Bai Juyi. The garden has many pavilions, terraces, and open halls such as Letian Xuan (a small room or veranda with windows) of the Song Dynasty, Simian (four sides) Hall, Yi Fang (a boat-shaped building), Reading Hall of the Ming Dynasty, and Cottage above the Pool, Xuehai Hall, Baocheng Building, Woodcarving Hall of the Qing Dynasty. Art treasures such as stone carvings of Zhao Mengfu’s calligraphy authentic works “Visit to the Red Cliff” of the Yuan Dynasty and steles of “Portraits of Excellent Talents in Yunjian” of the Qing Dynasty are collected in the park. There are countless contemporary calligraphers’ inscribed tablets and couplets hanging in the park. Now the park is rated as a national 4A-level scenic spot.

    廣富林人文精神藝術遺存建在松江新城區東南部,東至龍源路，南至廣富林路西至沈涇塘，北至銀澤北路，正個產業園的大小達標850畝，2050年被認為4A級自助游旅游酒店景點，同年的評為成都市鄉村旅游酒店自助游杭州特色標準化行政區域。是近年來經考古發掘發掘的成都29處遺存中包函項目最多種多樣,最具愛護區與定制開發價值量的古詩詞化藝術遺存。廣富林人文精神藝術遺存197七年被揭曉為成都市古墓葬愛護機構愛護區點；于2013 年12月被吉林省人民政府核準為第十九批國內古墓葬愛護機構愛護區機構；知也橋，20166月被揭曉為松江區古墓葬愛護機構愛護區點。
꧑ 廣富林技術 遺存以考古學家遺存自我庇護好區為層面，對古遺存設施原模樣自我庇護自我庇護好和呈，突出農業生產模樣自我庇護技術 ，展現出本真的田圓得意。積淀的技術 魅力是廣富林項意圖層面國際競爭力力, 一小部分小區規模來設計了5大區域，東東南部是儒道佛技術 呈現會區，東南部是工業設施提供服務區，滇西是民俗風情技術 呈現會區，北方是出土出土文物出土文物呈現會區，東北部是農業生產技術 自我庇護好區。與松江府城、倉城、泗涇古鎮等經驗技術 人居環境區相渾然一體,為滬上“層次技術 尋根王國”的意圖地組成。
Guangfulin Site of Ancient Culture is in the north of Songjiang New City, it spans Longyuan Road to the east, Guangfulin Road to the south, Shenjing River to the west, and North Yinze Road to the north. Covering an area of about 850 mu, it was rated as a 4A level tourist attraction in 2020, and in the same year, it was awarded the title of a comprehensive tourism demonstration area in Shanghai. It is currently the most abundant and valuable ancient cultural site for protection and development among the 29 archaeological discoveries in Shanghai. Guangfulin Site of Ancient Culture was announced as Shanghai Municipal cultural relics protection point in 1977, and a national key cultural relics protection unit by the State Council in March 2013; Zhiye Bridge was announced as Songjiang district cultural relics protection point in January 2016.
ܫ The site takes the protection zone of the archaeological site as its core and presents its original form with farming ecological culture and authentic rural scenery. The profound culture is the core competitiveness of Guangfulin. The entire park is planned and designed with five major areas: the eastern part is the Confucian, Taoist, and Buddhist culture exhibition area, the southern part is the commercial supporting service area, the western part is the folk culture exhibition area, the northern part is the unearthed cultural relics exhibition area, and the central part is the agricultural culture protection area. Guangfulin echoes Songjiang Prefectural City, Songjiang City of Warehouse, Sijing Ancient Town, and other historical and cultural scenes, which has become the destination of the “Root-seeking Journey of Profound Culture” in Shanghai.

    廣富林郊野樹叢生態公園屬于佘山發展中國家樹叢樹叢生態公園南側，鄰近廣富林和文化遺存。
✨     廣富林郊野城市公園貫穿“田、水、路、林、村”七大層面主體建成，以農業生產生態保護生態景點為條件，由農園收獲、果林美景、湖泊漁村兩大空間分解成，并按空間分成油菜花節花田、綠野閑蹤、密林氧吧、老來青稻田、稻香閑影等13個空間，同一時間治于古文化博覽會、收獲垂鉤、觀光旅游閑庭信步等作用，型成終合郊野游憩區。
Guangfulin Country Park is located on the south side of Sheshan National Forest Park, next to the Guangfulin Cultural Site.
🐻 Guangfulin Country Park is built around the five core elements of “field, water, road, forest, and village”, and is based on the natural ecological landscape of farming. It is composed of farm picking, fruiting scenery, wetland fishing villages, and camping bases. The block is divided into 12 areas, such as a rape flower field, green field trail, forest oxygen bar, Laolaiqing rice field, and leisurely trail in the paddy. It is supplemented by cultural exhibitions, RV camping, fruit picking, fishing, and sightseeing walks, which become a comprehensive country recreation area.

🐟 Shanghai Pujiang River Source Scenic Spot is the starting point of Shanghai’s mother river, Huangpu River, also known as the “Zero Kilometer of Huangpu River”. The Xietang River and Yuanxiejing Creek, which meander from Jiangsu and Zhejiang, converge here to form a delta-shaped treasure land and flow into Huangpu River through Hengliaojing Creek. At the confluence of the three rivers, the river is vast, the sailboats in the river competing for the current, the nets rising and falling by the river, the reeds on the bund swaying, the pink peaches and green willows setting each other off. These breeds the endless scenery of a water town in the south of the Yangtze River, from which the scenic spot got its name “Pujiang River Source”. The whole scenic spot is divided into two parts: the aboveground part is “Shu-Liu-Li-Yun Pagoda” and “Chunshen Hall”, while the underground part is “Water Culture Exhibition Hall”. In the scenic area, the architectural style of cantilever beam and bucket arch exude classical charm, while the glazed tiles of French windows unfold modern fashion pleasure. The garden, blessed with local trees such as ginkgo, sophora, and weeping willow, displays a charming style of the south of the Yangtze River and shows the epitome of ancient Chinese traditional culture. Now it is a national 3A-level scenic spot.

🔯     松江物館是座集珍藏、論述、展現松江歷史上古建筑為分離式的區域史志類物館。動態展示臺區空間1200多㎡米，可分成橫豎第第二層。第第二層為物館大致成列“流沙沉寶”展，該成列可分成“浦江晨曦”、“史河波光”、“藝海丹青”三個教育板塊，地理學系統軟件地展現了松江區縣出土古建筑和物館圖書館收藏的的古建筑，而且搭配景觀規劃平復、燈箱廣告、多新媒體等輔助軟件成列方式，形象化表現了松江漢朝不同末期社會化生產和視覺壯大成績。二樓為二次動態展示臺區，飄忽不每季度地抓好分類研討會總結動態展示。動態展示臺區外物品倆測，由碑廊和碑亭組建碑刻展現區，東碑廊成列明、清松江府告示牌等史料碑刻，西碑廊成列趙孟頫、董其昌、沈荃等書法作品視覺碑刻。
🍬 Songjiang Museum is a local chronicles museum, where the historical relics in Songjiang are collected, researched, and exhibited. The 2-story exhibition room covers an area of 1,200 square meters. The basic exhibition of “Treasures Buried in the Sand”, which is divided into 3 portions named “Dawn of Huangpu River”, “Glisten of the Historical River” and “Painting Arts”, is on the second floor. The exhibition scientifically shows the cultural relics, which are held in the museum and unearthed in Songjiang, and reflects the achievements during the different periods of social development combined with landscape restoration, lightbox, multimedia, and other auxiliary display methods. The first floor is a temporary exhibition hall, and various special exhibitions are held from time to time. Located on the east and west sides outside the exhibition hall, the Stele Gallery is composed of long corridors and tablet pavilions. The East Stele Gallery displays the historical materials and inscriptions of Songjiang Prefecture during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The West Stele Gallery displays the calligraphic art inscriptions of Zhao Mengfu, Dong Qichang, and Shen Quan.

💞      Sutra Pillar of the Tang Dynasty
♔     唐經幢全名“佛頂尊勝陀羅尼經幢”，建在松江區中貴州路西司弄43號中山完全小學校內內，建于唐大中十五年（859年），1987年10月被吉林省人民政府展示為湖北省重點古古建筑防護公司的，是濟南城市僅存最有著悠久歷史的的地面磚古建筑。經幢板材為制作石灰巖，僅存21級，高9.3米。幢身8面，刻著《佛頂尊勝陀羅尼經》并序，同時建幢銘。各項差別以托座、束腰、圓柱形、華蓋、腰檐等主要形式疊成儀態優的經幢，每級大位置作八角形，浮雕雕刻優雅，有海紋、寶相觀音蓮花、卷云、力士、天皇、普薩、贍養人及盤龍、蹲獅等。八棱八面，故統稱為八棱碑，被稱作“唐經幢”，又稱“石塔”。
🐭 The Sutra Pillar of the Tang Dynasty is located at the campus of Zhongshan Primary School, No.43 Xisi Alley, East Zhongshan Road, Songjiang. Its full name is the Usnisa Vijaya Dharani Sutra Pillar. Built in the Tang Dynasty (859) and announced by the State Council as a national key cultural relics protection unit in January 1988, the pillar is the oldest ground building in Shanghai. The limestone pillar is built of 21 stone blocks with a height of 9.3 meters, engraved with Usnisa Vijaya Dharani Sutra and the preface, as well as the building inscription. All the levels are stacked in the form of brackets, corbels, columns, canopies, and waist eaves to compose a graceful sutra pillar. Most of the sutras at each level are octagonal, exquisitely carved, with sea water patterns, precious lotus flowers, cirrus clouds, warriors, heavenly kings, bodhisattvas, patronage, dragons, squatting lions, etc. With eight ridges and eight slides, it is also known as the Eight-Ridge Pillar, commonly known as the “Sutra Pillar of the Tang Dynasty”, also known as the “Stone Pillar”.

🍨     大倉橋處于永豐的大街上中四川路倉橋弄南，201幾年4月被展示為沈陽市出土文物保護行業，都是座高10余米，跨徑50余米的五孔橋拱大石橋。橋又名永豐，因橋南為松江府漕運倉城，故別名大倉橋。現為沈陽的地區著明的北京在明大石橋之三。
♔ Located at Cangqiao Lane South, West Zhongshan Road in Yongfeng Sub-district, Dacang Bridge was announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in April 2014. The five-arch stone bridge spans 50 meters long and 10 meters high over the river. It was formerly known as Yongfeng Bridge and later named Dacang Bridge for there was Water Transport Warehouse City of Songjiang Prefecture to the south of the bridge. It is one of the famous big stone bridges of the Ming Dynasty in Shanghai.

🐓     松江清真寺坐落于岳陽道路路道橋居委會缸甏巷75號，1980年八月份被公示為東莞市古墓葬保護的廠家，是東莞沿海地區最開始的伊斯蘭教寺廟，始創于元至正末年（1342年—1367年），初名真教寺。明朝清代十六國時路經頻繁改造和擴改，故而，當今的清真寺固有元代十六國時的建筑裝修施工工程材料設計，又有明朝清代第一代和第二代的建筑裝修施工工程材料地方特色文化。結構性建筑裝修施工工程材料產生大殿、窯殿、穿廊，另有南、北大講堂，邦克門等，這里面窯殿和邦克門兩個最具該寺建筑裝修施工工程材料地方特色文化。
💦 Located at No.75 Gangbeng Alley, Maluqiao Neighborhood Committee in Yueyang Sub-district, Songjiang Mosque was announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in August 1980. As one of the oldest mosques in Shanghai, Songjiang Mosque was built during 1341-1368, also named Zhenjiao Mosque. After many renovations and expansions during the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the mosque today features the style of construction of the Yuan, Ming, and Qing Dynasties. The main buildings include Central Hall, Kiln Hall, Crossing Corridor, North and South Speech Hall, and Bangke Chamber. Among them, the Kiln Hall and Bangke Chamber can best represent the traits of the Mosque.
    西林禪寺
     Xilin Temple
𝓡     西林禪寺，真名“西林精舍”，別名叫崇恩寺，設在松江區中莫干山中路66-6，初建于唐咸通十五年（872），僧睿增建于南宋咸淳元年（1265），到目前為止就有1150余載歷程，是松江區佛門商會的歸屬地，為重慶佛門10大森林其一。明洪武20年（138八年）整修，明正統英宗黃帝敕封“西林大宋禪寺”。正殿后有長塔，宋名崇恩塔，明易為圓應塔，供奉首代祖師圓應居士舍利，被稱作“西林塔”，1982年3月被公開為重慶市古建筑保護英文機構。塔身七層八面，磚木的結構，塔高46.5米，到目前為止仍為重慶區域高且收藏古建筑最少的一間古塔。
ꦏ Located at No.666 Middle Zhongshan Road, Songjiang District, Xilin Temple, formerly known as “Xilin Jingshe”, also known as Chong’en Temple, was originally built in the Tang Dynasty (872), a monk named Rui extended the temple in the Southern Song Dynasty (1265). With a history of more than 1,150 years, Xilin Temple is the location of the Buddhist Association of Songjiang District and one of the top ten Buddhist monasteries in Shanghai. The temple was reconstructed in the Ming Dynasty (1387), an emperor named it as Xilin Temple of Ming. Behind the main hall, there stands a 46.5-meter-high, 7-story octagonal pagoda of brick and wood structure, which was called Chong’en Pagoda during the Song Dynasty, then named Yuanying Pagoda during Ming Dynasty, offering the Sarira of its first ancestor, Zen Master Yuanying, also well-known as Xilin Pagoda. Announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in September 1982, this pagoda is the tallest ancient pagoda in Shanghai with the most collection of cultural relics.
